eBay 2.5 - app

eBay is an online auction and shopping app that helps users bid, buy, or sell items.

If you're an avid eBay user, eBay for Android is a must have app. You'll be able to access all of your eBay information including watch lists, purchase history, sales pages, and more. You can manage your eBay or just browse and buy items from the site.

eBay provides real time counters so you can place your bid right at the end of an auction. If you've bid on an item or have an item in your watch list that is about to expire, you will get push notifications warning you that the auction is about to end. This is extremely handy for those who can't access a computer to place a bid.

Purchasing items is extremely simple. Log in with your account and all of your information will appear. Selling items is also extremely simple. You can type a search or scan their barcodes to quickly fill out information about the product. It's impressive that you can do all of this on your phone.

There are some quibbles with the eBay app. There is some noticeable interface lag while waiting for pictures to load. If an item has a lot of pictures to swipe through, there is some stutter, but this is by no means a deal breaker. Item description pages are also a bit small, though the eBay allows you to pinch to zoom.

Overall, eBay is an essential application for eBay fans. The app makes it extremely easy to browse and manage your eBay activity, as well as providing a useful front page for deals.
