There are lots of features within Wattpad designed to assist your reading. You can set the background and text colors, change the font and its size, and flip between landscape and portrait mode. When reading you can tell Wattpad to auto-scroll through pages, flick through pages by tapping the left and right side of the screen, and move to a certain percentage of the book.
Unfortunately, there are no page numbers so it's impossible to browse to a specific page, which is quite annoying. Also, it's not possible to add bookmarks.
Wattpad uses your internet connection to access the library. You can choose to read an eBook online, or download it for offline viewing on your phone. Either way, it might end up costing you a lot of cash if you don't have a flat rate internet as part of your phone's data plan.
Wattpad is a fantastic app to have on your phone if you're a keen reader. Although the user interface is rudimentary compared with iBooks or the Kindle, the range of books it offers for free is astonishing.
