Morning Kit (Alarms & Info Widgets) is an alarm app designed to provide you with everything you need when you get up in the morning. 

What does Morning Kit do?

Morning Kit allows you to set multiple alarms (up-to three in the free version), each of which can be customized with a sound and set to repeat on specific days of the week if necessary. You can choose to enable or disable the snooze function.

But what makes Morning Kit different from most other alarm clock apps are the 'widgets' that come bundled with the app. There are nine different functions including weather, date, world clock, quotes, exchange rates, Flickr images, date countdown, and memo (the latter two are not available for free). There's also a calendar mode that syncs with your iOS calendar to show you what's in your schedule for the day ahead. 
 

How does it look?

Morning Kit (Alarms & Info Widgets) presents information in the form of a clear and striking dashboard. You can personalize which widgets appear in the panels, and customize the appearance of the interface with themes. There are four interesting default themes for free (plus two premium themes), or you can simply use a photo from your device as a background. It would be nice if there was a bit more choice in terms of default themes, though.

The verdict

Morning Kit makes for a great toolkit for getting up in the morning. Hopefully in future the developer can add more widgets. What would be especially useful is integrated widgets for networks like Facebook and Twitter.
